N.A.S.A is an ongoing creative collaboration between two lifelong music aficionados, Squeak E. Clean ad DJ Zegon, and their friends, friends of friends and musical heroes.
N.A.S.A stands for NorthAmerica/SouthAmerica.
After this little intro we gonna straight to the point, MUSIC, TSOA try to melt 2 different musical world together. The level of collabos in this album is impressive, big names like: M.I.A, Santagold, Kanye, Tom Waits, R.Z.A, Chuck D just for name a few.
TSOA sound more like a collection of singles than a full body album.
N.A.S.A achive the goal of putting together artist like Tom Waits and Cool Keith or R.Z.A and Jhon Frusciante and make them sound like they've been play together for ages.
The only negative point of this work is to forget South american sound a lil bit too easily. Beside that I like this album songs like Gifted feat: Kanye and Santagold, Whachadoin feat: Spank Rock, M.I.A, Santagold and Nick Zinner or Hip Hop feat: KRS-one, Fatlip and Slim Kid Tee, are guarantee club banger.
I'm still an Hip Hop junkee so my favourite are Way Down feat. R.Z.A, Barbie Hatch, Jhon Frusciante, I love this beat with a great guitar loop and R.Z.A flow simply great as usual. Money feat. David Byrne, Chuck D, Ras Congo, Seu George and Z-Trip grat trak with an amazing video clip.
